True.com
They deceive users by sending mail via user's accounts to entice memberships Internet

Miscellaneous

This is a singles matchmaking site that uses uncrupulous means in order to trick people into joining. Once you register as a free user, they begin sending "winks" and even emails to other members from your account without your knowledge, making others believe that you are sending them directly. I had about a hundred sent out at a rate of 3 per second, quite impossible to do. I am sharp enough to realize what they were doing and DID NOT join, but I'll bet a lot of people were suckered out of their money.

They also use a scam when you try to remove your profile from their site. When you try to email them, they purposely link to an error page, as if there were some technical problem, but their isn't. Their script is written to display the error always. Then you are presented with the option to call their customer service instead, which is one of those 900 numbers that will charge you a lot for the call.

This site needs to be closed down.
