I had a $16.30 charge on my SCB phone bill. It was for Voice Express (voice mail service). I have a six station mail box system in my house. I did not order it why would I need it? When I called the company at 1-888-293-3724 they informed me that I signed up thru registerfreeze.com.

This was done though a download for FREE screen savers. It appears that the free screen savers come with a punch of a 14.95 charge per month. They forget to tell you about this, must've been in the fine print. He said that I accepted to sign up for this service when I downloaded the FREE screen saver.

She said that she would cancel and credit me - but let's see.

I called SBC to report this as well, while I was on the line with the lady, you could hear other complaining about the same.

Everyone beware - look for the fine print - especially when it's something for FREE.
