Used 1997 Camaro With Electrical Faults, Warranty Not Honored

I purchased a 1997 Camaro on September 22. When I got the car, I bought a 4 month or 4 thousand mile warranty. The door panel where all the buttons are was missing. They assured me that they ordered the part that week, but it is now November 14th and there is still no part.

I called them to inform them about the problems I was having and about the part, but they hung up on me twice, and when I go up there to talk to somebody, they tell me the person I need to talk to is not there. After I bought the car, the radio would not work unless you had the lights on, and then it would stay on while the car was off and you were out of the car.

I did not think it was a major problem until the windows would not roll up. Then the lights will sometimes work right, but sometimes they will stay on and will not turn off. The car has a bad electrical problem, and I notified Car-Mart about the problems we were having with the car. They told me that it was not their problem because the car was used. I understand that there would be little things wrong with it because it is a used car, but I purchased a warranty and they do not want to back it up.

After contacting them about the electrical problems, the car started to leak oil and transmission fluid. I paid a $300 down payment and then an $80 a week car payment for a car that does not work and that I cannot drive. They lied to me from the minute I looked at the car, because they assured me that it was a good car and that if it did have any problems the warranty would cover it.

They should not be able to get away with this and making people think they are getting a good deal on a car, because they are not. They are ripping people off every day!
