Ripoff, lied, had personal information, referred to another website, used false names

I was contacted on a Friday by an Unknown phone # saying that I was rewarded a grant of 12,500 dollars and that is was being deposited into my account within 24-48 hours. I was setting up my gear for a wedding because I own a local DJ service and was not in the mood to listen to what they were saying but for some reason I did. I asked all kinds of questions and got the run around but they did answer them finally after badgering them for more information. I own a small business and need the money to help pay on bills and the money was actually going to be an answer to a prayer.

I'm not sure what possessed me to give them my banking account but I was constantly assured it was not a scam and was given the website: www.grants. Gov, not being around a computer I didn't have the ability to take a look and I really couldn't even understand what the guy was saying half the time. When I asked for his operator number he would counter with an excuse of why not to give it to me. When I asked his name he stated "Paul Johnson" but has a heavy Indian accent. I'm not sure why I even followed through with it but I guess I was hoping it was for real.

Well, it's Wednesday of the following week and I've been keeping tabs on my account. No activity from them but I did close my account. F them for being deceitful and lying to people who are trying to actually do some good in life. I've worked to hard to let a couple of scamming f heads try to take money from me. If I remember they believe in Karma and it will come back around. I'll make sure of that.

I had to call customer service and waited about 15 minutes and it was answered by a rude Indian customer service operator. Probably the same one who has answered many of the other calls and complaints. Their name is ADVANTAGE AMERICA and they are feeding off of people.

Don't even bother with them not worth your time of even talking to them! I didn't lose any money because i beat them to the punch as should you. Close your account and start a new one. Twenty bucks for new checks is a lot better than 300!
