RepoPlus - Group 4 ripoff scam unrealistic opportunity offered

I was ripped off by RepoPlus. I found the offer on a job search and answered it. I was given the number to call after responding to email, to join in on an initial conference call.

Since I have worked in collections over the past 12 years, and am familiar with the business, the offer seemed legitimate. After looking over the web sight and listening in on the original conference call, I decided to try it.

I did everything required, including aquiring a business license and paying the original "offset" deposit of $450.00 to cover training, licensing and bonding costs. I purchased broad band internet service and a secure 800 number service, also recommended by the company.

They sent me 3 original "cases" to solve, which were all located in the mid-west, along with very personal confidential information on three individuals. Again, it looked legitimate because I have seen these types of reports and information as a collector.

After a matter of weeks, after investing nearly $1000.00 in getting the business up and running, and spending late hours trying to work the "cases", I started getting very suspicious. I was emailing Paul@RepoPlus.com and asking direct questions, but did not get responses. Then the weekly conference calls started getting cancelled. I finally looked up the website this evening and saw that the website has been closed.

Now, I'm out all of the investment I have spent and no way to contact RepoPlus. The site is closed and the email address is no longer valid.
