AmeriSource Publications
World Wide Source - American Solution Information Ripoff Targets small business, insists you "aithorized" advertising in their directory, charges you $300 or more, offers to settle for "admin fee" of $99, the whole thing is a SCAM

Miscellaneous

One of these companies will contact you with a $299-$429 billing for advertising. When you dispute the charges, they immediatley offer to settle your account for a $99 "administrative fee", hoping you will just pay up rather than risk it going on your credit report.

I am an in-home business of a type that does NO nation-wide advertsing of the type they claim to publish. I KNOW I never authorized any such. They claimed to have my verbal okay on tape from a phone call. I said call me when you have that tape and can play it back to me. They never did.

The pressure to pay up or "settle" is intense. They will threaten collections and then send another demand on their OWN collections letterhead, so it looks like they have turned you over to a separate collections company but it is still them.

All these are owned and operated by the same scammer. The MO is always the same. The addresses are slightly different but are all in the same general area.

Don't give in and don't back down! The BBB has a HUGE file on these shysters.
