Do Not buy a JWH, they will lie and try to cheat you if you cancel your contract Ripoff

We signed a contract with Jim walter homes on Feb. 7. We were told our blue prints would be there in 2-3 weeks, they would break ground in 2 months and the house would be complete in 6-9 months. Well, we never received our blue prints. We were told one lie after another. They told us they had applied for out health permit and it was approved, guess what, no permit was never applied for. If u call the manager here in pensacola Ron, he hardly returns your phone calls. Well finally I was fed up with all the lies, my husband has came home from Iraq very sick and has to use a wheelchair to walk any distance, I was trying to handle all of this myself to keep the stress off of him, well I had enough of all the lies and I canceled the contract on May 3. I received a Cost letter from them in June telling me, we owed them 1396.00 for costs they have incured. The charged us 355.00 for the permit we never received and 156.00 for the blue prints that we never received. I had to go to jwh and talk with Ron and he said to fax him the cost letter. Well he did call me back and he said he would try and take care of the permit but that is all they can do. I called the district manager David Craft and he wouldnt return my call his secretary Michelle did, she said ron was handling this and my plans were sitting in tampa and I was responsible for them, I asked her how i was responsible for them when i never received them? Long story short they wont give me my plans but are trying to make me pay for them. I will not pay for them and not receive them, IF anybody out there is looking to buy a home do not use JWH, it will be the worst mistake of your life. Not only dealing with a sick husband and our 4 children now I am responsible for paying 1300 dollars for nothing, no house, no plans, no permit..
