This magazine renewal service inc. Had been taking money out of my account without me knowing till they overdrew my account and the bank teller gave me a number to contact them. They would not tell me anything. I asked what kind of magazines I was paying $2000 for. They wouldn't give me any names and I asked to cancelle and they told me I couldn't do that.

I immediately closed my account so they would then have to send me a bill and I could find out what this was all about. I went through the roof when they sent the bill and said I signed a contract for $2000. I currently owed $600 and some odd dollars. I didn't know if it was a scam or not and I had just paid off all my credit cards and I was afraid they'd ruin my credit further. I wrote a check and asked for them to send me the signed copy of the contract with the next bill.

A couple days after the check was sent out the company called me and said they had never sent a bill to me, and if I paid it all off now they'd take a hundred dollars off. I told them I sent them a hundred dollars and hung up. Then, they called again and I answered but acted like I wasn't home and the man told me that I didn't owe anything and he'd call back to speak to me directly.

Now, I've just recently got a second bill and now the contract amount is for $1404.00. Before, it was $2000 and some dollars. I decided to have my wife look it up on the internet and came accorsed court cases with this company. I am looking for some guidence about how to go about this scam.
