Debit Card charges of $10 after they called MY CELL PHONE ripoff

About a month back I woke to the ring of my newly purchased cell phone. I do not like getting up early especially when I do not have to, I am a college student. I answer the phone thinking it would be a friend of mine or perhaps some family. I was pissed when it was revealed to be some AP9*HOMEWORKS caller.

Half asleep I tried to nicely get the guy off the phone but woke up pretty quickly when he started reciting back to me my bank information. I was then stuck in this loop of listening to HIM confirm all my information to an automated machine. I was very upset that my info seemed so readily available to them.

After about 1/2 hour of this crap I told him several times that I did not want anything take me off any lists and all that. His response was that I will be mailed some discount tickets to various things and it would be free as long as I call to cancel. I DID NOT want this stuff like vacation packages to Florida... I LIVE IN MIAMI! Furthermore I kept repeating that I did not want these services, he said I was already in their computers and would have to call some #'s to cancel. (I have part of this conversation recorded) I got off the phone and called the #, and found out I also had to follow up with about 5 other #'s. I was signed up all over for all kinds of trash.

Then... There it was. My bank statement shows 4 different charges from AP9*HOMEWORKS and AP9*CONNECTIONS 2 from each. Also all the stuff they were soooo eager to send to me. Not 1 fricken thing, and that's the only good part because it saved me the trouble of throwing it away.

Rip-off! This is only 1, about 5 days after I got another phone call for some kind of school loan thing claiming the government wants to "give me $5,000" yeah ok. This one is unresolved but I may be on here again soon. Haven't seen anything from them yet but I was told that a charge of about $55 a month would be billed to me. Wow thanks for the 5 grand, oh I mean... Annoying the hell out of me and charging a poor college student. Thanks! RIP-OFF
