MEMBERWORKS ripoff, unauthorized charges to my debit card

This company has been charging my debit card $14.95 per month for at least 6 months. I have tried several times to contact them and I keep getting an automated recording asking for a membership number.

I had never heard of this company until checking this site, and certainly did not authorize them to charge my account. I have no idea how they got my information. I am wondering if it was through a credit card purchase for something.

They actually had the nerve to call me several times recently to try and sell me other memberships! The only reason I know that it is them is because it shows up on the caller id as Memberworks.

When I confront them about the MWI Homeworks Plus scam as they call, they pretend not to know what I am talking about and give me a 1800 number to call, which is useless.

I really need to know how to stop this!
