Pic Priority Transport Aka Pic Priority Transport Aka Pickering Corporation Inc. Aka David Ryan Pick spent 6 months w/bus. Startup 4 months as employee no compensation

I presented a business plan to old friend of mine to open a trucking company knowing he was looking for an investment plan.

After spending 6 months to get the company started without any compensation we went to work. I was the driver, he "handled" the dispatch and accounting end. I was wired money from time to time to pay for fuel and so I could eat while on the road weeks at a time.

I was continually told that the money wasn't coming in yet, or the overhead was eating up all the cashflow. I continued to work and slave harder to do my part, but still I got the same excuses.

I continued (against the better judgement of my wife) to work for this person I once thought was my friend. This choice ended up pushing me into bankruptsy, forcing me to sell my home to avoid foreclosure and nearly cost me my marraige.

I finally decided to give up on the company I created and had put my heart and soul and time away from my children into and face the reality that my "friend" was a liar and was pocketing the profits. He bought a new home while I was losing mine. All by the sweat of my brow and the blind trust I granted a greedy thief who bettered his lifestyle at the expense of my loss.

I now have a good job, my family, and a house I'm renting. I cannot buy another house because my credit has been ruined.By the time a creditor finally decides to take a chance on me again I'll have been priced out of the market I grew up in. I was supposed to be a partner. 50-50 he told me. I could raise a stink about my interest due in the company. But, I'd be happy if he would just pay me what I labored for. I'd even wish him good luck. I care about that companie's success, because It's something I created. My best achievement.

I don't want a pitty party and I don't feel sorry myself. I'm grateful for what I have. But I owe it to the people I hurt (my family), to do something about it. As Larry the cable guy would say..."Let's get er done"
