Claussen pickles
Very tough skins

I purchased a jar of Claussen's Dill pickles expecting the quality that I have always been used to. I was very disappointed when I took one of the Claussen dill pickle spears out of the jar and had a difficult time biting through the skin; it was so terribly tough. I pulled several more of the dill pickle spears out of the jar, and they were just as tough and inedible as the first one I had tried to bite into. I think that Claussen should check their standards, which have fallen tremendously since the last time I purchased their pickles. I would hate to see my fellow consumers buy these expecting the same quality they have always been used to from Claussen pickles.
