Ice Storm Claim Dismissed After Coverage Was Never Added

On Nov 6th we had an ice storm come through Powderly, TX. On Nov 5th I called Allstate Insurance and explained to my agent that we were having an ice storm and that I needed to take out full coverage on my car and insurance on my mobile home. In doing that, she stated that I had an outstanding balance due and it would have to be paid before they could add coverages. I stated that the money is in the bank, take it out. And she said ok. Well, needless to say I didn't hear back from her, so I contacted the 1800 number and spoke to someone there and explained what I was calling about. And she looked into my file and stated that the coverages had not been added.

I said the woman I spoke with said she would get the coverage on, and she did. Well, Allstate is dismissing my claim because I didn't have coverage, and I did. So now here I am without a car and my mobile home is damaged. But notice I will not give up...
