Upon purchasing lift tickets for the day a young representative quickly ran our credit card when I was trying to ask more questions. I had asked if they honored military IDs and she stated yes, however, the trasaction was already printing so she told me she couldnt do it. I asked her to void it and run it again. She stated she would have to have a manager help her. Five minutes later she came back and said that the manager told her no that it should have been done prior to running the card. At that time I asked to please have the manager come out for me to speak with. The manager came out and told me no because she didnt feel like doing it. I was so shocked by her response that I was silent for a moment repying what? She said thats right because I dont feel like it. I then thanked her for showing her support to our country and honoring our veterans. There was NO line when I turned around there was, however, one man walking up to purchase tickets and he shook his head in discust that this is what our country had come to. Please know that my husband fought for our country and now is battling cancer of the bone marrow from a result of being exposed to toxins in the war. This trip was to make memories for our children. My husband sat silently in the lodge watching his kids ski while his heart was appauled by the lack of respect for the people who fight and have fought for our country. Winterplace needs to take notice of how their employees are treating their customers. I feel that this manager who was was on duty at 9:00 am on 1/18 should not be representing Winterplace in any public relations department.
I feel a credit back to my credit card is due as I dont feel like it is not a reason for denying the discount.
