Age Descrimination

I am writing you to express a complaint of discrimination I faced in one of your locations.in your Tinley Park Dick's location I experienced a very disrespectful example of age discrimination. I entered your location seeking helpful advice on a beginners rifle or shotgun purchase to begin a new hobby with my grandfather and uncle. I came to your store after receiving my Firearm Owners Identification Card and all of the necessary steps taken to obtain a firearm legally. I am young, but of age to own a firearm. I approached the counter where the sales associate by the name of Bob I believe, was behind the counter. I had to ask for his help twice to which he was hesitant to give being the nature of my question. Mind you also that I was the only customer on the side of the store. I showed him that I had the F.O.I.D. Card and that I had taken the necessary steps to legally purchase a firearm. Bob lied to me and said, "I have no idea what to tell you about these guns. They're up here and on sale." To that I explained that I was just looking for something relatively inexpensive, but good quality for a beginner. I asked him what types of firearms the store had to offer and he said shotguns and. 22 caliber rifles. He then said, "I was in the armed forces, so that's where I learned what I know about firearms from training." This nullified his earlier comment about knowing nothing about the guns at all. I proceeded to look at the selection asking simple questions about the different models to which some were answered and others ignored. The employee then proceeded to completely ignore me and walk away to another part of the store. I was deeply disrespected by such an example of discrimination. I am a frequent customer of Dick's and after such an experience I question whether I'd like to continue supporting the company. I am nineteen years old soon to be twenty, but my age should not be discriminated against being that I had filled the necessary requirements. I am not by any means trying to feed a "sob story", but I'd like to be shown in some way that I'm considered a valuable customer. I was un-rightfully discriminated against. Any sort of resolution would be greatly appreciated. I would really like to continue supporting Dick's, but I deserve to be treated equally.
