I am pleased to have Dick's Sporting Goods in my neighborhood (Col. Pike, Arl, VA). It's stock and selection are for those who actually USE them, not just flashy looking stuff.; The quality is good, The staff - from the departments to the register - are knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. It is refreshing to be approached by staff inquiring if they can be of any assistance. It's great to be able to purchase authentic sporting goods for my nine year old as well as myself under one roof. Dick's reminds me of the Paragon store in Manhattan; if you needed something related to sports/clothing/equipment, you went there. Ditto for Dick's
