Walmart Site to store mess up

I ordered a 4 wheeler for my son. Then 4 days before christmas I was told my order was in. I go to pick up the 4 wheeler and they bring out a fisher price corvette. I tell them this is not what I ordered, the person behind the counter says it is the wrong serial number but my name is on it. They keep repeating well your name is on it. I stated again that I did not order the corvette but a 4 wheeler. I was asked well do you want to take it or take the refund. I was then informed that if I didn't want to take the wrong product that someone at Walmart messed up on all they could do is give me a refund. They also told me I could go home and order the item again but it would not get there until after new years. Things go wrong I understand that but the customer service and the complete lack of compassion when this is a Christmas gift for my son I do not understand. With no attempted to fix the situation except for a refund, I can't give my son a refund for Christmas.
