Lack of timely information - Lack of necessary information until last moment!

I had a confirmed flight ticket for Wednesday, November 13 on a 7:30 A.M. Flight from Portland, OR to Newark NJ. Today (November 12!) I just received a neew confirmation for a different flight. No previous notice! Now I have to leave home at 4 A.M. Tomorrow. To say this complicates my life and makes me upset, disappointed and angry is on target. To change flights I would not be able to go until tomorrow night and fly overnight. All my scheduled appointments have to be changed and I have to wake up a lot earlier!
