I had a new sears electric furnace and air conditioner installed. They told me the compressor was life time guaranteed, the furnace 15 year guarantee. Now, after paying $950 for a service contract that I needed to keep the warranties, there are no warranties by sears. The manufacturer has a 10 year parts warranty but no one has ever heard of this manufacturer. To finish the installation and get it to meet code, I have to hire another plumber to fix their contractors mistakes. The sales men told outright lies.
