Miscellaneous

I signed up for a 3 day fre trial with EasyBeezy.com for USD $1 to get a free Fujitsu digital camera (valued at USD $75). When they asked me for my credit card info right away, I should have known it was not a good idea. But I proceeded because I received the offer after answering a survey question on a reputable website, LinkedIn. I thought EasyBeezy.com would be a reputable website because I seemed to be directed to them by LinkedIn. I was wrong.

After I signed up, I was told I would receive a welcome email to confirm my subscription. I looked in my Inbox everyday after I signed up, but there was no welcome email with my login or password. I wanted to cancel, but I thought I needed to log in to do so. Without my username and password, I couldn't log in and cancel!

Then I did a thorough search of their website and found, buried in several paragraphs of text, instructions to cancel. I could email support@ EasyBeezy.com to cancel. So I did.

I emailed to cancel. They said they would cancel my subscription and it would not automatically renew nor would it charge me after the renewal period. I then asked them to explicitly confirm they wouldn't charge me $119. They wrote back saying I had signed up and that I could play the games on their website, but no explicit Confirmation that they woud not charge my card.

However, I did not want to play games on their and I did not want the free fiftc. I cancel
