I purchased an introductory risk free trial offer for Luminique Age Defying Complex. I was billed for shipping of the product. Two 1 ounce containers of the product were received, along with a free gift, a ounce toner. I advised them that I was not happy with the product and wanted to cancel. I was told that because I contacted them outside of the 30 day period, I was not eligible for a refund. There are other indications, from people and companies in the skincare industry, saying that 30 days is too short a time period for someone using the product to make an honest assessment of it's performance.
I was therefore charged an additional $69.95 for the product, and was told it could not be refunded. They then charged me and additional $34.95 1/2 of the purchase price, so essentially the two containers of Age defying complex each cost $34.95. I guess they felt they were doing me a favor by not taking back a product I was not happy with.in essence, this venture cost me $104.90 Plus $1.00 and change.
What I'm most hoping for is to let other people know, so they don't get ripped off. There are many other more reputible companies out there, who do have positive track records. Read everything before deciding on online purchases..
