Broken lens

My girlfriend took her glasses to this shoddy establishment to have them cleaened. Cleaned only, the technician after 15 minutes came back the front and said that one of the lens broke in half when he tried to remove the lens. He never told us he had to remove the lens to CLEAN them. We were then told that it would cost $589.00 to have new lens made up. I complained angrily and the salesperson went to the back and spoke to (I assume) a manager, when she came out she told me I they were able to get the price down to $400.00.
She gave the clerk a $200.00 deposit and they (supposedley) ordered the new lens. They should be ready by Friday 8/16. I think this is outrageous that I have to pay for glasses that the so called technician broke.
