Take-Out Service

My co-workers & I usually go to Chili's for a sit down lunch, but today I & one other co-worker decided to place a take-out order (2 salads) from the Chili's in Germantown, TN. We were told the orders would be ready for pick up in 25 min. We waited 25 min. Before leaving out office knowing the drive time was approximately 8 min., which was ample time for the orders to be ready. No one was waiting in the pick-up line when we arrived & the waitress greeted us immediately. For an additional 25 min. The waitress kept coming to us every 5 min. Stating the orders would be right out. It was obvious she knew we were aware the salads had not even been made, but wasn't about to admit the screw up. That disturbed me even more. 58 min. To prepare 2 salads is unbelievable!!! I have never had this experience @ any other restaurant & my entire real estate office places frequent orders from numerous restaurants. This type service is definitely unacceptable & Chili's will most likely be removed from our lunch list.
