I'm filing this complaint on behalf of my father who is a senior citizen. He received several notifications of an Official Notice of Cash Award Release. These notifications were stamped with 'Official Seals' with a 'Certificate of Compliance' attached. He was told to enclose the requisite release fee of $20 or $25. Unfortunately my father sent them the release fee 7 times for a total of $150. Once he told us what he did, we looked the company up on-line and realized it was a scam as we told him it probably was. The checks have already cleared his account.
