I was contacted by SC Law group in March advertising loan modification services. I was told about the many clients they had helped in obtaining modifications and the steps it would take. ON 4/4, I hired them and sent a check for $4,095.00. During the next few months, I sent bank statements, pay stubs, copies of bills as requested to prove my qualification for a modification. Every couple of months, my case was handled by a new representative. My case went through "employees" Marcia Fuller, Sandy Dimoska, Reyna Alaya, Ana Chavez, Randall McKeown and Anita Briggs. I wasn't kept up on progress and phone calls or emails were rarely returned. My modification was "denied" twice but I was told they would keep working on it. My last communication was with Randell McKeown on June 28th stating that a modification had been finally negotiated between them and my mortgage lender. Since that date, I have been waiting for these new documents. They have failed to arrive and attempts to reach anyone at SC Law Group have gone unanswered. The 800 number is always busy and voicemails to direct lines go unanswered. I contacted my mortgage lender whom have a similar story that they are unable to reach anyone about my case since June. They have disappeared with my money, without providing the services they advertised.
