This has been a devastating loss for me.
I always try to be extra careful when ordering from a company I have not used before, especially on the Internet.

As a collector of films, I was delighted to have come across ScooterMoviesShop, which seemed to offer hundreds of titles, many of which I had never seen before. I was wary of whether this company was legitimate, however. That is why I had initially placed a small order of two DVDs. I had received this parcel within a week, so I then assumed that it was safe.

On March 26, I then placed a very large order of DVDs by credit card, via the web site, as before. The charge was incurred on my card immediately, instead of at the time of shipment...

Weeks went by, and I received nothing. When I inquired about when I should expect shipment, I received an email with an apology, and how he was only a "slow old man" trying to catch up with orders... in fact the wording of this email is identical to the one posted by another user here.

After this (first week of May), I attempted to contact the company again repeatedly, but with no more responses to my emails.

Finally, over this past weekend of July 13, I noticed that the entire web store is now completely gone, and taken down. When I attempted to contact them once again, my email was returned as " undeliverable".

The amount of money that I have lost is obviously a very large sum, and my only hope is that I can somehow dispute the initial charge on my statement, or somehow obtain a resolution here.

I am usually so very careful when placing orders, and proceeding with caution. Having received my initial small order fine, led me to believe that I was safe to continue ordering from this store. Was I ever wrong.

My heart goes out to everyone else here who has been scammed.
