A young man came to my door stating he was trying to sell magazines to win a trip to Italy. I wrote a check to Explorer Communications for a 2 yr subscription. Fortunately, my husband searched for Explorer Communications on google & found out it was a scam. I was able to stop payment on my check at a cost of $30. Since then, I have been receiving text messages & phone calls from sex hotlines etc. Which has been beyond annoying & grossly inappropriate, since mt young daughter sometimes answers the phone. Please note: He gave me a fake name "Bobby Elliot". Really?
