Two young men showed up at my door telling me that they were selling magazines for school. I tried to send them away but the came into my home and wouldn't let. I finally just payed them $500.00 in cash and four checks of $59.00 for magazines because they said I could cancel them all in the next three days. I not only sent an email to the company requesting a cancellation but I sent in a duplicate copy of all the receipts showing that I had payed in cash. I called my bank and stopped payment on the checks. I just want to be refunded for my cash payments. Today I received nine letters from explorer communications saying that I need to show proof of payment in the form of checks from my bank! Non response within 30 days activates the order. If the order activates isn't that also proof of my payment right there.
