I bought a car from dealership above on 5/6 They were suppose to check brakes and windows before I picked it up. They did this but after that they had the inspection sticker put on it. After two weeks of driving car I noticed a sound on it. Brought it to my mechanic who in turn told me that the car shouldn't have passed inspection. There was a hole in the muffler. I called the dealership and all they could do for me was work out a deal. Don't think that was fair because by them putting on the sticker they are telling me that the car passes inspection in all areas. I had to have the work done by my mechanic cause I had two grandchildren with me that day and that I wasn't taking a chance with the two of them in driving all the way back to Lowell to have them check it out and I called Mass Dot and talked with Jim Sbonga and he told me that the findings he saw consisted with the fact at the time they put a piece of duct tape over the hole of the muffler and he believes this is how it was able to pass the inspection.
