Miscellaneous

I did not complete registration for this service when I discovered it was unrelated to the search I was doing nor required for a download I was attempting. The sign up screen popped up and it is assumed that use is a requirement for the download. I provided my card info for the confirmation of free sign up, but did not elect to complete the registration by responding to the email they sent. Their 24h, 7days a week published phone #s of 877-747-0005 and 302-722-4141 are not answered, though allows a voice message to be left. The offer to cancel the service requires that you pay $. 99 (or $1.00 during the trial period.) At this point I have spent over 30 minutes trying to "un sign up" or "cancel a non-confirmed registration" in order to prevent them from charging my personal card. Sending an email is not a guarantee of cancellation and "may take up to 3 business days to process." My concern is that if I can't even cancel a "trial" or "free" subscription, what is to stop them from continuing to charge my card after the first 5 days?

This is a scam in a big way, since most people won't argue much over $1.00 or $34.95 once, but you can't even talk to them and the online chat doesn't work either. It's stinks, I can smell it! Also, there is no noted location to complete your request at the top of this form. I hope someone begins looking into this right away. Thank you. Cheree Myers
