This is an online position, for an administrative assistant, The company Surplus Toners is a real company, but they are not the ones who posted the ad. Their name was just used. I spoke with the owner who was understandingly frustrated, said this had happened only a day earlier to someone else, and he has the police involved. ODesk is also investigating the situation. They interview you on yahoo chat, they say they will send you a check to purchase things for the work you need to do, then you are to wire funds to them, its a mess. If you are hired for an online position, get in touch with the company themselves, I would not have known unless i had done a live chat with their customer support.
