After applying for an administrative assistant position found on Indeed.com, I was contacted by someone claiming to represent Nicox, inc. "Micheal West" arranged an "interview" on yahoo messenger, then told me I was hired for the position, and that they were going to send me a check to purchase office equipment necessary for the job. This is a scam. No reputable business works in this manner, and especially does not have an @yahoo.com email address for the HR department.
