A Awesome Towing towed my car from Albertson's parking lot (75th St & Manatee Ave W) on 6/25, my car was there from 1PM to 5PM. I did not authorize this tow. I belong to AAA, if I needed a tow truck, I would have called AAA. A Awesome Towing said my car was abandoned, it was NOT. I met a friend there, we took her car to Sarasota and I left my car at Albertson's parking lot. They charged me $237.26 for this un-authorized towing, the breakdown is: $44 milage charge, $125 for towing charge, $15 labor charge, storage charge $53.26, a total of $237.26. They only took cash, no credit cards, no check. I feel like they stole my car and I had to pay them to get my car back. I don't know if this is even legal??
