I have written 4 total lettersto the Customer relations in East Meadowin N.Y. 11554. Accept forthe reply tomy first letter saying 'No' to my refund request, that dept has not replied to my letters dated 4/10,4/26,5/23. Details of my complaint are as follow:- I travelled from New Delhi, India on 5th of March by Business Class for USA and landed in Chicago, On my arrival in Chicago While I was collecting my luggage from the conveyor belt, one ofthe Lufthansa staff came to us and told us that our domestic flight Rochester, N.Y.By United Airlines has been cancelled due to weather but she had booked us by American Airlines the same night. We came to American Airlines counter but to our surprise, they told us they will not accept our baggage if we did not pay to them $100.00 for each suitcase weighing over 50 lbs. Lufthansa staff was again contacted for the payment issue because United Airlines would not have charged us a penny if our flight to Rochester, N.Y. Was not cancelled Rochester, N.Y. Was not canceelled. The Lufthansa staff assured us that we should pay and apply for reimbursement with the receipt from Lufthansa Customer service dept and we will be reimbused the money. We did according to whatever we were told, but we are very much disappointed that Your airlines has not honoured their word. Mr and Mrs Chhibbe
