Miscellaneous

I ordered skin cream for $4.95 about April 10. And gave my credit card number. The screen on the internet then attempted to get me to order products for $97.88. The web site added this to my order without permission. I got charged the $97.88. I received the product and called them on the phone to return the item. AuraVie staff said it was fine to return the item. The items from the April 10th order was returned to me on 6/4 the box had a sticker that said, "received possibly damaged and received unsealed." The box had not been opened by AuraVie. They held it for a month and returned it which was then outside of the return period. I was told by one of their employees on 6/4 that a return authorization number was required to return an item. There was no mention of a return authorization number when I called initially to return the item. They deliberately did not provide a return authorization number as part of a scam. On 5/27 my credit card was tapped for another $97.88, I did not receive any items, just the charge. AuraVie agreed to refund the money from the 5/27 charge where I did not receive any merchandise and they agreed to reduce the initial charge of $97.88 to $67.88. I had my bank on the phone with them when they made this deal. I have not yet seen the refund as promised.
