Miscellaneous

This was a boat on Craiglist. I emailed the individual that posted the boat; he emailed me back and gave me information to register to gizmagdepot to initiate the transaction. He gave me very detailed instructions on how to register on this website. I then received an invoice with an invoice number to use on the website to be able to see and follow the payment information. I was provided with a Bank of America account number to where I had to wire transfer the money. I was advised by them that the boat would be delivered within 3 days of them receiving the money and if the boat was not as described I would have 7 days to return the boat. Gizmag Depot and I kept in constant communication via e-mail until the time when the boat had to be delivered. It has been a week since they received the money and I haven’t received the boat. I emailed the seller and Gizmag Depot but there was no answer; I also called the customer service number listed on the website which was automated and it would always say all agents were busy on the other lines, or it would ring and ring and no one would answer. I am extremely sad by this and I would like to get my money back, but there’s nothing I can do at this point. I can’t believe I fell for it and I hope other people read this and don’t become another victim of these robbers.
