620 Marine Group/Chris Blair
Buyer Beware!

On August 4 I had an agreement with Chris Blair from 620 Marine Group to purchase a 1996 Carver 280 boat. At that time I sent Chris both my credit application and a $1000 deposit for the boat. I received a phone call a few days later to let me know that I had been approved for the boat and to foward him the remaining down payment for the boat. Ever since he has had $6000 of mine I have received nothing but a big run around.

He initially assured me that he would start transporting the boat to be delivered the weekend of August 18th. This did not occur. His excuse at this time was that he replaced the props on the boat. After that he assured me again that he would have the boat to me by the next weekend, again this did not occur. He continually has excuses on why he can not follow through with his words.

Finally, this last Friday Chris had informed me that the boat was on its way and it still hasn't arrived. I asked Chris for the name and number of the individual that would be delivering the boat. He gave me a cell phone number that has been disconected. After having to play games with Chris to get him to answer his phone he will constantly tell you that he will call you right back, which never occurs.

I have done further research on this company and it appears that they have conducted business under several different names (i.E. Brystar Marine).
