I was trying to reinstate my husband's insurance policy w/the insurance proceeds as instructed by the insurance company. I sent the insurance company a money order for the $924.00;however, they returned the money in a copy of the original money order. They indicated in their letter that the copy would be honored as the original order, but when I tried to cash or deposit the copy of the money order, my banking institution or the company where I purchased the money at would not honor the copy of the original money order. I called the insurance company to request a check from the their company, but I was told to check back on Wednesday 05/15, to get the results of my request. When I called back on the above date, I was told that my request was not honored as yet. This insurance company has very bad customer service when it comes to helping their consumers. The service representative of the insurance company told me that it would take seven to 14 days from the request to finish its process. Each time I speak to someone, they give me a different verision of their process.
My husband's name is Joseph Smith his DOB 04/15/1931. His Policy # (Personal Information Removed). Please Help us w/this insurance company because they are giving us the run around w / this problem.
