Miscellaneous

I was contacted over my cell phone by a man with an accent, who claimed that he works for the Microsoft Systems (he also gave me his first and last name, which am not going to specify here), and told me that my computer is hacked and in order to prove it to me he wanted me to enter www.teamviewer.com into my browser and press enter.
I happen to be an IT professional myself, so I didn't do it and wrote everything down instead.
He gave me a tel# 1-855-635-4369, which I called and discovered that this number belongs to VIA3 Support, and they answered the phone and were willing to 'help' me by fixing my problem over the phone (no mentioning of any fees or prices at that point). Well, I knew beter than that and told them that I will call them back after some research, and after so I've found this site and decided to contribute.
By the way my father also received the same type of a phone call abou a week ago, but we decided that he is not going to go with thier 'services', so that was the end of that.
