I was offered £142 by a reputable jeweller in Lincoln for my gold ring. I saw this "cash for your gold" company on the internet and sent them details of my ring. They offered me £184, so I ordered an envelope from them and sent the ring to them. They contacted me a few days later via e-mail and offered me £84.
I refused their offer and asked for the ring to be returned. I have not received my gold ring back and fear I have been a victim of a scam by some crook who gets people to send their gold by offering a figure and then when it is rejected, they keep the gold and refuse to take any telephone calls or answer any e-mails. Hope they are caught and brought to justice. Scumbags.
