My husband and I were looking to clean up our credit reports and contacted Lexington Law for assistance via the internet and phone call.in lieu of the details regarding this business transaction we had 5 days to cancel and could cancel any ongoing business at anytime. My husband called a couple days later and cancelled it for us. But they are now saying it only applied to his report, not mine! My husband said "WE" have decided to cancel! He spoke with Nathan Lee originally, but now they say they can't find him. The total charge was going to be $99.95 to be taken out on May 1st.instead, they took that total from our account a few days after the initial contact. We called for a refund and after long conversations they said they would refund us the money. All that was returned was $50.00! Aside from this fact, they said we had 5 days to cancel; we thought 5 business days meaning Mon. Through Fri. But no, they counted the weekend of which we were totally unaware. Also the charges they took ended up coming out of our Overdraft Fund as we did not have that much in our account until he got paid this week. It's really been a hassle! I am on disability and my husband supports the household so it has definitely been an issue for us. And we are having difficulty receiving the remaining $49.95.
