Exceptional Professional Driving Career Down The Toilet! Rip-off!

Because of a certain policy within Jevic Transportation my professional tractor trailer driving career is now in the toilet! I have been a professional since 1987 with an exceptional driving career, no accidents, clean MVR, driving awards etc. After talking to recruiting Jan. I liked what I heard and proceeded to the orientation provided at the Delnco, N.J. Terminal which lasts 3 days.

At the end of the third day I was called into the head recruiters office, in which I was told I had failed the urine anayalses. I was in absolute shock and told the recruiter there has to be some kind of mistake and that I insist on a retest, only to be told that company policy does not allow it, then they didnt even offer me transportation back to Conn.

What is even more confusing is federal law requiers that the testing physician contact you regarding a failed urine analasis, and I received no contact whatsoever which was more upsetting as I wanted to get this straightened out. But the ironic part is while I was away, my girl had gotten a contact regarding another position with another company here in conn.in which I contacted and was immediately hired, an the twist is I DID NOT FAIL THE DRUG SCREEN, go figure. There should be some kind of pertection in the gov. Because the recent company I was with is changing its operation and I have been looking and appying on the internet.

I was wondering why I was not getting offers only to finely receive an offer through J.B. Hunt Logistical div. Staples Supply, only to be told at the first day of oreintation, that my Dac Services report said I failed A drug screen reported by Jevic. Well how come is it that all the other drug screens in 17 yrs (random, pre-employment etc.) I have passed and because of some kind of failure within the system, I can not get a GOOD professional Tractor Trailer drver position or for that matter any driving offers. I have a family to support and thanks to Jevics policys (no retest) it looks like my driving career is down the toilet.
