I took out the trial membership for £1 with no intention of taking out the yearly subscription of £79.99. I sent an email cancelling on 29th March (being the end date of my free trial) but £79.99 was taken from my credit card on the day before. I had a long conversation with their Bethan Eady in which I requested a refund. I was told that the last day of my free membership was the 28th and that they could not refund me. Their letter states that the "no-cost period is due to end on the end date above" i.E. 29th March so to my mind I cancelled within the free trial period even though it was the last day.
Since the lady I spoke to was so adamont that refunds could not be made, I can only conclude that this is some form of fraudulent activity or scam.
