Simple Money Machines
Ripoff on trial account - will not honor cancelation

Miscellaneous

After deciding that the service is not for me, I attempted to cancel the account within the 14 day trial period. I did not notice an easy way to cancel. I looked on the sign up page, amoung others, and found no links to cancel. They have a button for free or paid, and I attempted to click on the free account button.

Only after being charged and then a hasty email to their account person, was I told how to cancel.
The web site terms of agreement are:
$1 Trial Terms

Simple Money Machines offers you a risk-free, $1 trial for 14 days. To ensure uninterrupted service, when your trial ends, your account will be automatically converted to a paid plan and charged to your credit card. If you do not wish to continue your subscription after the trial period, simply cancel your account before your trial period ends.

Please note: You MUST cancel your trial membership during the trial period if you do not want to be switched to a pre-paid plan. We can not issue refunds on any pre-paid amounts for plans cancelled after the trial period expires.

This is a risk-free trial. You will only be charged $1 if you cancel anytime during your trial period.

The email Susan sent me is:

Termination by Member. Member may cancel your Member Account or any part of the Service at any time. To cancel your Service, Member must submit a trouble ticket via the Customer Support tab so that it is tracked properly. Please note: You MUST cancel your trial membership during the trial period if you do not want to be switched to a pre-paid plan. We can not issue refunds on any pre-paid amounts for plans cancelled after the trial period expires.

I notice a difference in terms. Hmmmmmm
