Contacted by him on match.com. "love at first sight". Worked on oil rig, lost wallet. Asked him his middle name was getting something engraved for his birthday, Thomas Gregory Rife, Bentonville, Arkansas. Project finished, needed $for airline ticket. Sent $2300.00. Now red flags going up. Then accident at job site. 1 man killed, 2 hospitalized. Now asking for $15,000. To pay off the family of the dead guy. Did not send anything. Not so much "love" anymore. He has tried bullying me.
I googled (a little late) and found a Tom Rife in Bentonville and called him. I had all the details about his marriage and residences as told to me by the scammer. The real Tom Rife told me he is a victim of identiy theft. I am the victim of a scammer.
