I was in the Bridgewater NJ store on 4/16 about 9am and needed a pair of black pants to match a suit jacket I had, aware that this is nearly impossible to do I was in a bind and needed some help with a close match. So as I entered the mens suit department, I greeted the sales associate and explained to him my dilemma; with out even acknowledging me, the first words out of his mouth were "did you do my pants like this" referring to a pile of pants that had spilled over on a table from being piled up to high; and proceeded to tell me in a condescending way that he could not help me and that I needed a new suit and went on his way. I was shocked to be treated as if the guy had a problem with me, no communication, amiable personality skills or character whatsoever.in the end I went to another department store where the associate from there mens suit department helped me out to closely match the pants to my vest, he even went to the trouble of exposing the pants and vest threw numerous light sources to see any deviation in tone and color; assessing the best choice for me, very experienced, something clearly the Lord And Taylor salesman lacks. They were more expensive, but thats the price you pay for quality and good professional customer service.
