I purchased a voucher for a limo ride from ATL airport for $69. Fine print said that it had to be within the perimeter and did not include tax or gratuity. I called the limo copany in late Jan and again in Feb. No response. I called again in March and was told them to send an email. I sent an email that same day. I sent a follow up email two weeks later and still no response. I Complianed to LivingSocial, they called the vendor and the vendor finally responded. They said it would cost an extra $40 becasue of the tax, gratuity and the "Surcharge" becasue I was coming in during rush hour. The rush hour surcharge is definitely not mentioned in the fine print. I told them that gratuity should be at my discretion, and that the tax rate on services could not be that high. They suggested that I ask Living Social for a refund as they were unwilling to take that much time to drive me. I requested a refund multiple times. Living Social tells me 2 days before the expiration that they will not refund, but said that I could gift it. Wy would I gift this to someone when I don't trust the skecthy vendor. I have never had an issue with AmazonLocal, GroupOn or Angie's List.
