Living Social is a rip off.

On April 2, my wife purchased a Puerto Vallarta vacation from Living Social for $399.in July I ruptured a disc in my back and could not travel. She called and talked with them several times. She also sent them a lot of emails. Eventually they responded and said we were out of luck. They could be no help.

On 5-16 I purchased 3 auto details through Living Social for a price of $235. Around August (three months prior to the expiration), I began calling the detailer - never any answer and no returned calls. I contacted Living Social in October to tell them about my attempted contacts. I contacted them by phone, via email and finally in December they got back to me and said I was basically out of luck. I would need to work it out with the vendor. Finally my daughter called and they said they would refund the money - never did.
