Miscellaneous

On Monday Oct. 22 my new tires were delivered for my Ford Focus. They came all wrapped so I did not see much of them until they were installed on the car. Two months later I began having problems, they started going flat one at a time. I had the first one plugged and then the second, one of them had to be plugged twice. Then when having that tire plugged the mechanic found wires hanging out of the tire. Well just to let you know... I had had those tires studded so I don't understand how those wires were overlooked. What I did skip was the reason that these tires were going flat, it was due to the studs that were put in incorrectly. Where the tire was leaking the stud had to be removed and then a plug was put in its place.
I have kept in touch with the Tire Rack and let them know what was going on and they had told me in an email on 3/15 that they would refund the entire amount of the purchase but to this date I have not seen it. I paid for the tires online with "Bill Me Later" so they would be refunding to my Bill Me Later account, but haven't yet.
