For the upteenth time, Loblaws have proven itself to be HIGHLY UNETHICAL, inflating food prices by at least 4% by abusing the penny reduction programme.

The official policy is that cashiers will round down total purchases to nearest nickel.
My many experiences have been that the cashiers round down total change and ROUND UP INSTEAD TOTAL PURCHASES.

As I make frequent daily purchases daily, many times a day, this adds up to about $100 a month on our $2000 consumption pattern.

Today, I asked the cashier again. And pointed to the policy poster, and she said no, according to "STORE POLICY", sometimes it is rounding down, but sometimes it is rounding UP.

In this case, the item ended in a FOUR CENT. And she rounded DOWN my change.
This has happened umpteenth time, and all cashiers do so and said that they are taught to do so by the STORE POLICY.

Thus, it is clear that LOBLAWS is committing FRAUD and MISREPRESENTATION. I am boycotting all LOBLAWS stores for METRO.

Everyone, please do the same.
